Gerardo Fernández Navarrete – Virus Total

Gerardo Fernández is a Senior Security Engineer at VirusTotal with experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering. Previously, he was a researcher at the NICS Lab security group at the University of Málaga, where he worked on attack pattern design, malware engineering, and intrusion detection techniques for over 12 years. Throughout his career, Gerardo has been actively involved in various outreach and training activities on cybersecurity and malware analysis. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Málaga and a Master's in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

Jose Miguel Holguin – S2 Grupo

Jose Miguel Holguín is a Computer Engineer with over 16 years of experience in the security field. He works at S2 Grupo as an Incident Handler, APT hunter, malware analyst, and threat intelligence analyst. Currently, he is the manager of the threat intelligence team, Lab52, at S2 Grupo. He has been an instructor in several STIC courses and has published various studies on APT groups. He holds CISSP and GREM certifications. Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to security through his work in malware analysis and cyber intelligence.

Juan Tapiador – UC3M

Juan Tapiador is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he leads the Computer Security Lab. His research focuses on computer security and privacy, with a particular interest in empirical measurement of large-scale systems, malware, and obfuscation technology. He has received several awards, including the Noteworthy Reviewer Award at the USENIX Security Symposium 2023 and the Best Practical Paper Award at the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy 2020. He has also directed the Master's in Cybersecurity at UC3M and is Co-director of the Master's in Intelligence Analysis.
