
The objective of the summer schools organized by the Chair is to deepen a research topic focused on the field of security, through lectures by international researchers and group activities.
The 2025 edition will explore current challenges in cybersecurity, including cybercrime, drones, wireless systems, and machine learning security.
La escuela de verano 2025 tendrá lugar from September 7th to the 14th at the Lucas Olazabal Hall of Residence in Cercedilla, just 50 minutes away from Madrid's Center. Deadline for early registration is 22nd July 2025. Participants will receive a certificate after attendance to the school.

The summer school will allow you to look into a variety of topics within the field of Security, identify new research trends, meet forerunners in this research field, and network with other international students, all in an unparalleled natural setting just 50 minutes from the center of Madrid. If you are a PhD student or a master's student interested in research, the summer school will enable you to deepen your understanding of these topics alongside top-tier international researchers
In this second edition of the doctoral school, you'll be able to attend lectures by prestigious researchers, participate in group activities, and discover the natural environment and rich cultural offerings of Madrid and its surroundings.

This activity is carried out as part of the INCIBE-ETSISI/UPM Chair (C122/23), resulting from a collaboration agreement between the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the Technical University of Madrid.
